I Know...I Know...

So I apologize for the lack in posting. Thanks to some friends and my lovely niece CJ, I have been sucked into the Twilight Saga...I can't seem to put them down. I will read until my eyes burn and I can hardly keep them open and I count the minutes until the boys are in bed so I can pick up where I left off.

It's all her fault!!! (Just kidding CJ - love ya!)

I finally decided that enough was enough so here I am tonight taking a much needed break from reading.

A lot has been going on since my last post.

There was Easter,

Other than that, we are in the midst of potty training and Justin has learned to pull himself up on furniture and is now starting to move along the length of the couch. Two new teeth have sprouted and Brandon is now sleeping in a big boy bed.

The Saltzburg Sickies!!

So the last few weeks has been riddled with sick children. Brandon had the stomach flu last week and Justin had yet another double ear infection!!! As of today, right this minute, all are well. Now everyone hold your breath and cross your fingers that it lasts a while. I hope with spring coming that the constant colds and coughs will be few and far between.

Needless to say there haven't been many opportunities for photo opps this week. We will be traveling to Phoenix and Wickenburg this weekend to celebrate Easter and I am sure the photos will be plentiful. So for those of you chomping at the bit to see pictures of the boys hang in there...they are coming.

Other than playing nurse mom, I have been busy trying to stay up on unpacking and doing minor repairs throughout the house. The linoleum in our bathroom is scheduled to be repaired next week and the guy should be out to measure for screens sometime soon. Hopefully the weather will warm up and we can get started outside getting the front and back yards cleaned up and ready for a garden.

Not too much new

Not too much to report this week. Rob and Justin were both really sick and we are busy recovering. Everyone seems to finally be on the mend but not much happened this week as a result. Stay tuned for more later.

The first of many...

So here is the first step in my newest goal of updating my blog weekly. This one is kinda long, from here on out they should be a little smaller.

We have had some interesting things happen over the last few weeks. Brandon has discovered how to undress himself, especially when he gets put in his bed for being naughty. This is how we found him the other night.

Brandon had his friend Chesni over one Saturday for a play date. They had lots of fun together and ended up on our bed to watch Cars and eat popcorn.

Justin has really started to get big, one of his favorite activities is jumping in his jumperoo. Mommy especially likes this around dinner time, it allows her to get everything she needs to get done without having to entertain.

Justin is also attempting to crawl. He is able to get up on his hands and knees and rock but hasn't been able to quite figure it out yet. He has no problem scooting backwards and in circles but moving forward seems to be a challenge.

Brandon and mommy took a quick trip to the grocery store because we were craving doughnuts, as you can see we had lots of fun eating them.
Brandon took a nasty spill this week too. While running around at Miss Stephanie's he wasn't paying attention and ran right into the corner of a counter. It knocked him completely to the ground and he had quite a goose egg to show. When I got there it was about the size of a golfball. Someday I hope he starts paying attention, he is the most accident prone kids I know.

We have quite the tooth brusher in the family, with only 2 teeth Justin just loves to brush his teeth. He also likes taking baths with his big brother, I can't tell you how much fun we have at bathtime.

Brandon and I decided that we had better get busy and use our new fireplace before winter is gone (we got snow on Thursday by the way). So Brandon helped me crumple the paper and get a rip roarin fire started that was wonderful!!

The week ended with a fort building session. Brandon made a "house" out of his table and blankets, this kept him entertained for about an hour!!

Come One...Come All

So the time has FINALLY arrived for me to create a blog. I have been hounded by many to be better about emailing pictures and updating friends and family about the goings on of the Saltzburg Clan. So here it is, hopefully my attempt to blog will be much better then my attempts to frequently email.

Bear with me as I am learning the ropes with this new process, it may take some time to get the hang of it.
